The Conan movies were never intended to be high art, nor was there much concern in making them timeless. Both films included in this collection, "Conan the Barbarian" and "Conan the Destroyer", are still fun to watch for what they are ... adventurous sword and sandal movies that focus more on sword swinging and bulging biceps than character and plot development. The first film, "Barbarian," is definitely the better of the two. But the package is such a great value, priced lower than many single movie DVDs, that getting the second movie is just a nice bonus.

I bought for my six year old, it was great to share some of the movies that you grew on. My son loves Arnold, so he really enjoyed watching Conan which had two movies in one. It seems the older movies has less violence scenes which as a parent is great.

Awesome movies. Arnold Shwarzenegger at his best. Lots of action, lots of battles. Enough Said!!!!
