Columbo, whose disheveled appearance and lackadaisical investigations disguise his sharp and shrewd intelligence. COLUMBO became popular and famous for its clever dramatic structure and Peter Falk's winning portrayal of the detective. The show was unusual in that it was broadcast irregularly, but each episode was either 90 or 120 minutes long, a length more common to films than to a television series. Each episode opens with a murder, followed by Columbo's investigation, and finally his revelation of how he put the events together. This collection of episodes covers the entire fourth season.

    Columbo is my favorite tv show of all time. Having 6 great episodes on one DVD is fantastic. Seeing the little parts of episodes that get edited out of the shows when they run on television is another plus.

  • TERRIFIC

    The Lieutenant Columbo series is excellent and worth while. Instead of the current tv programs I find it much better and rewarding to sit back and spend a hour or so with Lt. columbo and his 1970s LA..
