Customer Reviews
I've watched numerous horse trainers on RFDTV and Clinton Anderson's methods are the most clear and easy to understand - black and white with no shades of gray. I am a first time horse owner and using his steps really helped me to gain my horse's respect. His methods actually produce real results. This book breaks down his methods for training a horse in easy step by step instructions that anyone can do. I highly recommend this for any age horse and also for any discipline used. This is a wonderful tool!

anderson has a great easy to read writing style. his approach to dealing w/ horses is very insightful. he takes a horse whisperer approach while encouraging both ground and riding practices that encourage mutual respect btwn horse and rider. i'm a beginner (my daughter's experienced) and we both loved the book, me b/c it had detailed explanation/pics of technique, and her b/c it offered a very compassionate yet firm way to deal w/ horses
