My son is almost 2 and while he's very excited about Clifford in general, this book just seems so-so for him. Maybe it's because Clifford is a puppy in the book, and not the Big Red Dog that my son is used to. He's also more interested in plot, and this book sort of just points things out and doesn't really go anywhere. Perhaps for a younger child this might be more interesting when object names are first being learned.
