Clay Aiken's 'A Thousand Different Ways'
from Greensboro, NC,  Sep 25, 2006

I LOVE Clay's new CD. Especially his verisons of 'I Want To Know What Love Is' with Suzie McNeil, 'When I See You Smile', and 'Broken Wings'. My favorite orginals songs are 'Lonely No More' and 'Everything I Have'. The songs are wonderful and I would tell anyone I know to listen to this CD.

Bought this for my wife
 from NYC,  Sep 22, 2006

Ok I'll admit I bought this for my wife and then dreaded that I'd have to hear it around the house. I've got to say the man can sing and he does a great job on these songs. My wife's been playing this practically non-stop since I gave it to her and, again, I have to say I'm really liking this one. I have to give Clay props on this. He worked with some major producers apparently and it shows. This is a great CD and I'll tell you how good it is. I'm probably going to buy another one for the car and for this rock and roller that's saying quite a lot.

Singing as smooth as melted butter!!
from Charlotte, NC,  Oct 4, 2006

This album is nothing short of BEAUTIFUL! Clay's choice of music and his performance of them is TOPS!! What does it matter if he sings timeless, enduring music that has been performed by other artists? Would you tell Tony bennett you couldn't listen to him because he sang songs Frank Sinatra sang? Clay does beautifully with prerecorded selections and just may be as enduring as Tony and Frank!! Gotta love him!!!!

Wonderful CD!!
from Rochester, NY,  Sep 22, 2006

This CD contains 14 beautiful songs including 4 new ones. Clay's gorgeous voice makes the cover songs come alive with little nuances that make them all his own. The new songs are certain to become classics, particularly the one Clay co-wrote (Lonely No More). Clay's talent cannot be denied!

An outstanding CD
from Charlotte, NC,  Sep 22, 2006

What a beautiful CD this is. The production values are top of the heap and Clay's voice is at its finest, purer, more mature, just stunning. You can hear the emotion in his voice in some of the best love songs of all times and he never disappoints. This guy just keeps getting better and if you love to hear a truly extraordinary vocalist knock songs out of the park, this one is for you. I have a tip for you....to really hear the nuances in this voice get yourself some good earphones and you will be blown away. This one is a must have!

Clay Aiken - A Thousand Differnt Ways
from Mission Viejo, CA,  May 22, 2008

I felt most of the songs sounded the same. Clay Aiken has a wonderful voice and I expected a lot more. I felt the song selections did not really show off his true talent. I still like him, but he needs to have a better mix of songs that can really shine a light on his talent and range.

Surpassing Excellence
from Ruffin NC,  Oct 4, 2006

Clay Aiken has done it again, and this time he's better than ever! He sings a mixture of old and new love songs that melts the heart and soul. Clay continues to improve, even though you think it is impossible for him to be more perfect than he already is. Be sure to buy at least 4 CDs, one for home, one for work, one for the car, and one to share, because I guarantee you that anyone, who listens to this CD and doesn't already own one, will go out and buy one.

" A Thousand Different Ways"
from Mauldin, SC,  Oct 2, 2006

This is a classic CD. Clay Aiken's voice is even more mature. The cover songs are each arranged and performed masterfully. All the songs are worth listening to. I especially favor " Everything I Do"---the Celtic type music arrangement is superbly done. Other favorites are "Broken Wings", "Sorry seems to be the Hardest Word to Say" -so mystical ; and I Want to Know What Love Is". I hope this CD makes it to the gold or platimum; because this CD is awesome.

DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT!!!!
from Chapel Hill, NC,  Sep 25, 2006

"A Thousand Different Ways" from Clay Aiken was DEFINITELY worth waiting for!! Clay has such a soothing, amazing voice. He makes the former number 1 songs on this CD his own, if not better!! The new songs are pure heaven, especially "Lonely No More" and "A 1000 Days'!! You also must hear the bonus song added on iTunes!! It's called ""Lover All Alone" . Clay co-wrote it, and I believe that it's THE best song that Clay has sung yet!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this CD to EVERYONE!!! Clay's voice is more mature and has such an amazing range and depth!! Thanks, Clay !!!

Something for everybody!
from North Carolina,  Sep 24, 2006

I was excited to get my hands on Clay's new cd. What a showcase for his beautiful voice. And while covers may be a strange choice for a sophmore CD he does these proud in addition to delivering 4 brand new songs, one of which he had a hand in writing. I think he's been able to give the older songs a brand new flavor and the new songs round out a terrific variety of songs that have appeal for all ages.

Great
 from NC,  Sep 24, 2006

I love this album and can't stop listening. Clay Aiken has one of the best voices around as can be heard on this cd. Absolutely love "Broken Wings", "Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word", "Lonely No More" . This is one of the most musically interesting and vocally nuanced cds that I have heard in a long time.

A Thousand Different Ways to say "I Love You"
from Durham, NC,  Sep 24, 2006

Clay Aiken's second pop CD is all about love. These are beautiful songs beautifully produced. Mr. Aiken brings his own style and golden voice to 10 familiar ballads plus four great new ones. One of my favorite tracks is Mr. Aiken's slow ballad rendition of Dolly Parton's "Here You Come Again." I could not imagine before I heard it how wonderful it would be. Another favorite is "Lonely No More" which was co-written by Aiken I also know that many local stores sold out the first day and are already selling their re-orders. Treat your ears to Clay Aiken's amazing voice and if you are looking for a great gift there are few who would not enjoy this wonderful CD.

clay aiken: a thousand different ways
from ST Louis,  Sep 24, 2006

clay's third album is a showcase for the amazing range of his powerful voice, the choice of songs reveals myriad nuances of emotion in his new interpretations, the two songs he co-wrote show the depth of his creative ability, and the decision to record several classic love songs for his sophomore mainstream album shows his intention to follow his own path into musical history.
