A must see movie. Well made film that is insightful and moving. A far departure from most films made today.
Cinema Paradiso won The Academy Award for Best Foeign Film, The European Academy Award (The Cesar) for Best Movie and the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival. This disk actually has the original film on one side and the extended version (about 30 minutes longer) on the other - talk about improving on perfection! The extra length resolves some issues from the original and not just filler. This is a must have if you claim to love the movies!
One the best movies ever made. It captures your soul with it's purity. If you've ever fallen in love or chased a dream that led you away from home...you will love this movie. Boyhood nostolgia and innocence and love never go out of style.
What a wonderful wonderful movie! I highly recommend that everyone see it. You won't be disappointed.
