The Final Storm, written by Wayne Thomas Batson, is an allegorical Christian fantasy fiction with many moral themes and lessons. Aidan Thomas, a mid-teen boy, is in Maryland, planning to visit his friend, Robby, to convince him to ally himself with the one true King. Meanwhile, his other friend, Antoinette, has been captured by Kearn, Robby’s twin in Alleble, but he has been impressed by her skill at the sword. She has been trying to turn him to the True King, but hopes look dim. Aidan gets through to Robby, and soon Robby is also called to come to Alleble. Meanwhile, the dark prince Paragor, has unleashed the full forces of his army to conquer Alleble, King Eliam, the fabled Three Witnesses, and the people’s hope. The story of the three Witnesses is doubted by many, and as Paragor unleashes the also fabled Wyrm Lord and Seven Sleepers, almost all doubts are replaced by hopes.

The Final Storm by Wayne Thomas Batson is the exciting conclusion to the Door Within Trilogy. Darkness begins to envelope the Realm as the evil usurper, Paragor, begins to unleash his forces. The Glimpses, inhabitants of the Realm, still loyal to the good King Eliam must stand strong and be wiling to sacrifice their all for the hope of finally defeating Paragor. Aidan and Antoinette, both teens from our world who we met in the previous books, both meet in the realm as they attempt to escape from Paragor's clutches. They find the Realm a very different place; they find the Realm a world preparing for the biggest battle, the final storm. Will they be able to get out of Paragory alive? Will the forces of the King win? Will the legendary heroes prophesied to bring victory show up?Find out in the Final storm. I must say that I love the way that everything culminates in the final book. Heroes use what they have learned, characters that we have not seen in a long time show up, and the puzzle becomes clear. However, I felt bogged down a lot by conversations that seemed to slow the plot down. Some elements of the story came almost too fast in places, and the reader suddenly learns a very important fact about Antoinette in a sudden comment she makes. It seems to me that the fact should have been presented in a more attention-getting way, because a reader could very well be confused or miss the new revelation entirely. All in all, I recommend this book to readers age nine and up. Fantasy and adventure fans alike will highly enjoy this epic fantasy. As an avid fan of Mr. Batson's work, I can tell you, it only gets better from here!

I bought this series for my 15 year old daughter, but I decided to read them too. We both really enjoyed them and will be buying more books by this author! These books let you see what a teen can possibly be faced with and how they deal with each situation from a Christian's point of view.

Isle of Swords defines a fun swashbuckling adventure! Its' fun, if not original creations: a boy with no memory, a massively strong pirate, a headstrong co-heroine and skilled but mysterious main character, fighting monks, and a generous helping of danger and action are sure to appeal to the adventurous young teens reader. The book contains both some violent flashbacks, and implied gore, so sensitive stomach readers may want to stear clear. For those that do brave the waters however, I believe you'll find a fun story with good take home values of loyalty, freedom from the past, and honor amidst troubled times.

Bestselling author Brandilyn Collins teams up with her daughter to produce this suspenseful whodunit series. Written in first person narrative from the perspective of Shaley, a sixteen-year-old, this teen story keeps the readers interest. The killer's thoughts, written in third person and interspersed throughout the story, have a chilling effect.A typical teen, Shaley's BFF, Brittany, has an intuitive ability to know the future. Unfortunately, this reader does not have that ability. The novel is well written. The characters are believable, but the story stops just in time for the next book to begin. I understand that this is a series, but I feel gipped when left with a cliff-hanger.

Incredible book! Mr. Batson, with his simple, yet fast paced writing style, knows how to spin an amazing tale! Whipped half to death, a teen wakes on an island with no memory of who he is and how he got there. A pouch he clutches holds a shock of hair, a small cross, and a rare green diamond pirates would kill for (and do). Declan Ross, captain of the Wallace, and later the Bruce (and what a battle it was!), wants to free himself and his somewhat annoying and headstrong daughter Anne from the piracy business forever. But when he crosses with the notorious, blood thirsty pirate Bartholomew Thorne, things get ugly for him and a friendly order of monks... who hold the last (um... maybe not) map to the long lost treasure of Constantine located on the volcanic Isle of Swords. 115% percent, absolutely incredible!

This book interprets slavery in a way that young teens will be able to read and understand. It also illustrates ways in which slavers were able to communicate and overcome such a devastating period of America history.

I purchased this book for my 10.5 year old daughter who absolutely loves the Greg Kinney books. She read it cover-to-cover in about a day, and she is not a diligent reader by any means. I find Mr. Kinney's books humorous myself - I love his satirical take on things. Great book for kids who don't really like to read - at least it gets them exposed to reading!

I purchased this book as my grandaughter is an English teacher in Junior High and she wanted some books for her library. It seems her students are thrilled with reading Harry Potter books. This was the only one in her collection she didn't have and I couldn't find it in hard cover so I tried your website. Very happy with your service and will purchase from you again whenever I need a book.

Easter is a time to celebrate spring as well as take part in religious celebrations. One of the most treasured Easter traditions for children is the Easter basket, which has a long history rooted in both pagan and religious customs; the Easter basket was used to carry the first seedlings of spring, and it was used to carry the feast at the end of Lent. While the purpose has shifted, gift baskets continue to be a source of joy for kids of all ages, and filling an Easter gift basket can be just as much fun as receiving one.
