I recently purchased this box set and I'm was very please with the product. I have a son who will enjoy these books when he gets older. Before ordering you should know, as some of the reviewers have mentioned, the case is made of card board not leather. Also the packaging states what the product is, so if you want it to be a surprise and if you have options send it to an address where the recipients might not see it. Overall, I love the books and will recommend anyone who has children that like the Harry Potter series to purchase this product.

I bought this set for my son who, at 10, has rather suddenly deveoped a passion for reading. I am going to make that available to him in any way I can, and when he asked for the Harry Potter books I found this set! They are great books, of course, but the way this set is boxed is very creative and appeals to kids and adults both. The box is sturdy cardboard and comes with a set of stickers to decorate it with. There is a sticker for each House at Hogwarts, and various other 'travel' stickers. My son loves it!

Excellent value. We loved the storage box you receive with the books. Very, very pleased with the purchase. I would definitely recommend the set to Harry Potter fans.

The hard cover set of books is nice. However, the cardboard "chest" to hold them is cheap and not attactive.
