Heard the author interviewed on NPR, Calling All Pets. She brought up some interesting facts about cats and the proper food and care and this book was given as a Christmas gift to my daughter who has two Russian Blue cats. The book arrived after Christmas, I watched the travels the book took to get to Portland through tracking. Could not figure out why a book that started in California was sent to Kansas and then back to Portland.?? Seems odd to me. But it finally got back to the west coast.

I learned a lot, especially about how to read my cats moods, and more important what to do for problems in behavior. We are introducing a new kitten into a home with an older brat cat and the help has been great.

I was amazed at this informational book...Even bought one for my daughter and son-in-law. Cats do think and it is fun to see what they might be running around in their little heads.

This series of books also seems to help you cope with losing a beloved pet. For every dog an angel is also in this series, and I have bought these books for friends to help them grieve. Any pet owner knows, that having a cat/dog around for 15+ years, makes that greiving process that much harder. Buy this book and give to a freind, they will be able to grieve a little better...

Bought this magnet set for a friend, and ended up getting a set of my own after looking at hers! As a gift for a cat lover, you can't go wrong with this. As another reviewer pointed out, the shipping may be as much as the item cost, so look for free or reduced shipping offers if ordering this alone. Overall, it's a cute idea, and makes a good "thinking of you" gift for a friend.

I have read several books on cat behavior and cat care and found this book very insightful, with lots of new information. It gave me several great ideas to try to help my four cats live harmoniously. I volunteer at an animal shelter and bought the book for several of the employees and other volunteers. It is a great resource to use when we council adopters with multi-cat households.

If you like to take your cat for walks or let your cat outside on supervised tie-outs, a cat harness is a useful piece of equipment to have, as cats can quickly learn to escape collars and leashes. A properly fitted cat harness is comfortable on your cat and, at the same time, gives you more control of his or her movements, unlike a cat collar or cat leash. When you first get your cat harness, put it on your cat for just a few minutes at a time and then build up to longer periods so the cat can get used to wearing it. Read on for tips on fitting a cat harness on your cat.

Here are some of the factors that go into choosing the right one.
