  I was amazed at this informational book...Even bought one for my daughter and son-in-law. Cats do think and it is fun to see what they might be running around in their little heads.

  I purchased the novelty book, "CAT WOMEN: Female Writers on Their Feline Friends," as a birthday present for the discerning psychotherapist-slash-activist-slash-world traveler-and-Vermont transplant "Dr. Megg," and so far she hasn't complained. After all, she enjoys sublime literary observations, in addition to being a supreme cat-lover. So, it's a safe bet, and, hopefully, a good fit. I confess, as a card-carrying narcissist, I frequently buy gifts for others which I'm certain I'd enjoy myself. So this passes that test!

  I bought the book because I had never owned a cat before, so didn't know what to expect in terms of behaviors, mannerisms, etc. This book was a great overview in helping know what to expect, what was normal, what was not etc. Great book for someone looking to learn more about their cats and their quirks
