I really enjoy Stephanie's books. She truly understands the knitting jones! She has a great sense of humor about knitting and what goes with this passion. I have read her other works and really enjoyed them so was very interested to read this book. I was not disappointed.
What fun! At last someone who talks "yarn-speak" - the whole book is an adventure in itself. Even my non-knitter husband read it and laughed out loud several times. I think it clued him in a little; he now understands that I'm not the only yarn & knitting addict....and, as she points out - "...it's better than having an affair". So my only problem now is how to support my habit. Thanks, Stephanie!
This journey to the Land of Knitting was a delightful trip. I never thought of my 53 years of knitting in quite this way but after reading the book, I find that I have been living here for many, many years. The style and content of the book is wonderful. If a new knitter wants to become a Knitter, (pages 212 through 215) this book will definately help the process along. I intend to purchase the authors' two other books.
