Wonderful story, great animation, believable characters. Some violence, integral to the story. Good mix of humor and serious story line. One caution: In the English version, the boy's voice is dubbed in by an adult male actor, and this is distracting. Better to watch the Japanese-language version; the English subtitles are well done.

The Castle in the Sky is a wonderful, imaginative adventure that anyone of any age can enjoy and appreciate. In addition to a captivating storyline, the animation is breathtaking and sweeps the viewer into a world of magic and inspiration.

Beautiful animation, beautiful storyline that grabs ahold of you and drags you deep in. I recommend this film to anyone who loves a good animated film, especially those from the ghibli collection
