The best representation of saxist Jackson`s jump blues activities for King Records during the late `40s and early `50s. The Moose was a smooth ballad crooner, too, but you`ll find none of his mellow stuff on this 22-tracker -- just horn-leavened blasters, often with hilariously risque lyrics.
