ritzaceking from Marysville, WA, Rating:5.0Though recorded many years ago---the timelessness of the Blues, and the hard-driving jamming guitar of Alvin Lee---make this CD a winner!

paesana13 from San Diego, CA, Rating:4.0Raw Sienna is one of the steps of Savoy Brown, now known as a boogie band. Back in the 1960's into the 1970's the band was rocking the blues, British style. This album is from that time, when Chris Youlden was singing lead. He was an amazing vocalist in the vein of the bluer Rod Stewart or Long John Baldry. The tune, "Needle and Spoon," paints the picture of herion addiction as can be in music. Throughout the album, Kim Simmonds, the founder and lead guitarist for the band guides us thru the blues. Sit back and let your mind ride along with Savoy Brown who has kept the blues rockin' since 1965!

paesana13 from Vista, CA, Rating:4.0This is a great live & studio disc from the Savoy Brown with Chris Youlden at the vocal helm. Rocking British blues with lots of style from Kim Simmonds, a great guitarist. I got this as an LP in the 1970's & updated my collection with it on CD. Once you enjoy this disc, you'll be looking for more! Savoy Brown is the Boogie Band!
