Bringing Up Boys (paper back)
This is by far the most helpful book on boys I have found. As a brother of 2 boys and grandfather of 2 boys, this book contains excellent humor and an enormous amount of wisdom in raising boys. It is written by a Ph.D in Child Development from the University of Southern California, Dr. James Dobson, who also is the father of his son, Ryan. The book also contains the most complete compilation of scientific and educational studies I have seen, which are footnoted for reference in each chapter. I have given away 26 copies of this book!

Bringing up boys
It's almost sad that this book needs to be written, but Dobson does an awesome job writting from a Biblical perspective & from his own experiencess both good and bad. I would highly recomend this book to anyone trying to raise a boy to be a man in our world today. Even if you consider yourself to be a "good parent" this book gives insightful tips that you may have not just thought about.

First thank you Overstock.com for a timely delivery, this came through the Christmas mail rush and the binding and cover are in perfect condition. No bends, folds or tears from Post Office handling. I have only read the Preface of the book "Bringning Up Boys" and I can tell you now this looks as if it contains a lot of good advice. We have 3 children two boys and 1 girl. The daughter I can handle, the boys are a little trickier and I intend on referencing this book often.
