  • A UNIQUE AND ENTERTAINING HISTORICAL NOVEL!

    Nov 16, 2014

I am consistently amazed at Ms. Kirkpatrick’s historical fiction books. They not only bring to light the person they are written about but many social and cultural differences in that time period. I had never even considered all photography in the early 20th century involved until I read this book. • Love Bridget Jones book

    Nov 4, 2014

Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy makes me laugh every time I read a section. The general information i.e.: location, number of children and circumstances leading to being a single mum are different than mine. However, the details are the same. The struggle with technology, the fashion, the weight gain/loss, the dating faux pas, the younger man, the struggles, the career work are the same as mine. Thank you Helen Fielding, I no longer feel alone. I recommend this book to the middle aged women of the developed world; it is such fun!
