  After seeing my 3 year old great niece love this book and memorize it page by page, I bought it for my 2 year old granddaughter. She loves it! I think it is the rhythm of the verse. It also helps her learn letters. She goes to the book shelf and pulls it right out.

  This is a great Detective Story in the Judge Dee series. Judge Dee was a real personage, A Magistrate in Ancient China. At that time the Magistrate had to solve the crime in his District, not use give a finally decision. He solved many crimes and this book gives us some actual happening in the ancient times, and is very interersting, A great read! Once you read one, you will want the rest.

  I thought this was one of the most fascinating and well written books I have read so far. I liked the twilight series, but as coming from the same author, I thought this was by far more well written. It was engaging, well thought out and kept your attention at all times. It taught good lessons about excepting something you hate and made you love someone that you thought of. As the enemy, witch was an interesting idea. Having the point of view from the soul, rather then the human was very interesting also.

  I didn't realize this was a set with the book and box with keepsake envelopes. I'm sure it was in the description but I was pleasantly surprised. The book itself doesn't have the illustrations on it, the box does.
