This is an excellent resource for meditation. It is nice quality and while not big print as such, it is nice size print.

As an adult I am always interested in the history and culture of the American West. The American cowboy had traditionally served as the centerpiece on this subject; be it myth or legend. The DK Cowboy book is very informative, educational and entertaining (as all DK Eyewitness books). This covers everything from the types of saddle to the Hollywood stereotype. Of course their are many pictures and illustrations. One interesting fact is that the cowboy is not an American invention as European, Asian and Latin American cultures have their own traditions of cowboy that dates back centuries. My reason for purchasing this book is for a reference for sketching Western scenes and subjects. Looking through this book; one may learn that that the cowboy was not a reckless drunk who shot his adversaries in the street, but a hard working individual, a team player and an American icon worthy of this title.

  • Review of “The Power of Enlightenment: Chinese Zen

Very good book to read. If you start to “hear” the “written” words; your on your way. “Enlightenment is not just a better understanding; It is a better way of your path being lighted, so that you can now see into the “darkness” that was keeping you from walking the right path of life. Note: Nobody said that if you found the “right path” that it would be a short and easy walk.
