I had heard many people rave about this book but thought I would check it out for my self! WOW~I'm glad I did! The characters and situations are very realistic! The author has a beautiful writing style that draws you in from the beginning. The story is about 4 women who get to know each other during a series of knitting classes. Each of them are taking the knitting class for their own reasons in the end the women become the best of friends. I also like that the knitting pattern that the ladies are working on in the class is also in the book~if you knit you can also knit the baby blanket they are working on in the book. A must read!!!

This is for Debbie's third Knit Along book: Back on Blossom Street, which I wanted for the Shawl patterns. I have started my first shawl from one of the patterns in the book and can hardly wait to finish so I can actually wear it and show it off! *grin* I also own her first two Knit Along books and love them all!

This book is for my junior high school grandson who is in his first year of french. It's easy to read and understand. It is the size of a paperback book so it's easy to carry.

I bought this as a side kick for my Mickey Flodin, Signing Illustrated. It's great for quick look-ups and fits in smaller bags.

I like my dictionary, having orginally bought it for a sign class. It's much like a typical written word dictionary but with pictures, of course! My only complaint is that the pictures are kind of small, and, at my advanced age, I would like to not have to strain to try to "read" the sign and its movement. Maybe I should look for a large picture version!

We bought a table and chairs for our kitchen. We had a galley type kitchen and needed a dark wood to match the cabinets and two classy, small chairs. We looked at several furniture stores, because we wanted simplicity and style. We got both from Overstock.com, at an amazing price. This is a winner website to purchase from. They are ethical and provide quality product.

I have learned Spanish since I was in the 1st grade at public school. I received a 99 on my Regent's HS Exam. I speak it decently. However, recently I started to assist a Hispanic individual to learn English. Some words and expressions I have not used in a long time. I purchased this dictionary to assist me. Also this individual also uses Spanish words I am not familiar with. I find it in this dictionary, which helps both of us t communicate better, and learn new words. I would highly recommend this dictionary for just about all ages.
