This is the third edition of a very popular book by Nancy Johnson-Srebro about the Singer 221 Sewing Machine, commonly known as the Featherweight. The Featherweight is arguably the most popular sewing machine ever manufactured. This machine has not been made since the mid-1960s and yet there are millions of them out there, constantly being re-discovered and used. There is much information regarding this machine within the book, mostly from a hobbyist's perspective. I own all three editions of this book and am pleased to relate that there is exponentially more information between the first and second editions; the third edition, while encompassing new information, serves as more of a footnote to the second. Still, well worth possessing and I recommend it highly.

I always look forward to a new Charlotte Hughes paperback. but I have not been able to get into this one, I tell myself it will pick up speed and I will be sucked in, then I end up finding something I would rather read or reread instead, It still sits in my end table

I imagine if you're looking at this you probably already know about the book, if you haven't read it already, you should. Despite it's age, it still is very relevant. It's in the same vein as George Orwell's 1984 or Aldous Huxley's Brave New World or William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson's Logan's Run, or even the Matrix really. Dystopian future, protagonist "awakening", it's nothing new but it's a very well told story. A sci-fi classic and as I said, a still relevant view of modern society and the immersion of technology. The growing disconnect from reality in favor of electronics, a fear more realized today than ever before (which is continually true for each generation, so the book should reasonably stay relevant so long as books are still printed...)

The cards are beautiful. My item just arrived yesterday, so haven't had time to look at the book, but everything looks great.Shipping wasn't super fast, but not slow either. A+ for my total rating.

Reading this memoir of a Zen gardener was a gentle and relaxing experience. Each time I unwound with Wendy Johnson, I was led back to my garden's gate with renewed energy. Lovely illustrations.

Betrayal is the second book in the Where the Heart Lives trilogy about the Brennan siblings. I really liked reading Hugh's story. Ms. Hatcher did a great job with the characters of Hugh a Julia. I loved the way Hugh and Julia each had to overcome their sense of unworthiness to be able to accept love. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

Good book for anyone looking to grow in their Christian walk. Some direct analysis of how our culture and lifestyles effect our spiritual growth. Great spiritual check up for any man who says he follows Christ. In this book Hughes becomes the Jack LaLanne of pastors. Get up and get going.

This is an intense, thorough, masterfully done book about God's Chosen people. Very indepth. Have a dictionary by your side when reading! Everything you wanted to know about Jews. Johnson is a master historian. The book flows well. Johnson leaves NO stone unturned. Very resourceful! I need not look further for answers. His footnotes direct me to the correct sources for more information. I truly enjoyed reading. it While I couldn't read this intense book in one day, I found it quite difficylt to put the book down!
