I bought this for my dad, who is a Ford dealer and has an Aston Martin. I has amazing photos and really details the companies past. Great book.

We really like all the 'Clifford the Little Red Puppy' books, but of all we've collected, this is my son's least favorite. I believe he looses interest because e the last two pages look the same and there is a bit more repetitive wording.

Lots of good ideas, especially using as a jumping off point for quilts. The cover quilt is especially good for random strips in width and color and the quilt is pieced in straight rows rather than on the diagonal. Another quilt named Hover, is very modern and is a scrappy log cabin that floats in the background. This is also shown with the log cabin block fabric coordinated with one background fabric rather than scrappy. Many of the quilts use small pieces (2-1/2") but you could do the math and make the pieces you work with bigger, especially if you are a volume piecer who has lots of scraps and makes a lot of quilts.

These are of our favorite! Easy, simple designs, easy to turn pages, simple, real illustrations that captivate my child's attention. Short enough to keep his attention, or bothersome to read over and over and over..........

If you like Mark Bittman, you'll enjoy this little synopsis of his theory of meal preparation and enjoyment. As a devoted cook or devotee to Mark Bittman, this is much too small to be informative. However, I think it is a wonderful gift to a cook who might enjoy an introduction to simple cooking. That being said, I do love the recipes that are offered. Clean, simple and beautiful in allowing the food to speak to you without being overwhelmed by sauces or complicated techniques. As sampler of what food can do with a little acid, salt, pepper and good oil, this is a really nice introduction.
