The recipes all work so far. My only complaint is that the book definitely does not have all the recipes from the show as it claims.

An excellent book for cooking and for reading. The recipes are clearly written and the explanations and stories that go with the recipes are just as interesting to read. The book is very informative and, from my little experience of eating in Israel, it seems to accurately describe the foods of that country. A definitive book on its subject.

Present for someone who really loves it. Country cooking that most people can make without taking out a second mortgage to pay for ingredients. The biscuits are great! The recipient of this book also likes the comments and pictures plus the biblical references. Would like to see Ms.Kay on a cooking show

What a fantastic buy. Fell in love with this book as soon as I opened it. The pictures and stories are heart-warming, uplifting, down to earth, funny. The mouthwatering recipes definitely inspire me to get back on my feet & in the kitchen after a 10 hour holiday baking stint today. Here I thought I'd find only 1 recipe I was interested in - there are many I can barely wait to try. LOVE it!

Forever Amish, Legacy of Lancaster Trilogy Book 3 by Kate Lloyd Who would have know answering emails from Lizzie a young Amish woman, could change her life forever. When Sally Bingham answers an email about her show dogs and decides to visit Lancaster Country she had no idea her world would be turned upside down. Sally has always had questions about her mother but never expected to find answers on a Amish farm. As her engagement comes to an end, she discovers her fathers betray and finds an extend family she had no idea existed. In the mist of this turmoil she finds love and forgiveness. Kate Lloyd did an outstanding job with this sweet Amish story of peace, forgiveness and faith. I give Forever Amish 5 stars, it is fast paced, sure to grab and hold your attention. This is book 3 of the Legacy of Lancaster trilogy but can be read as a stand alone. If you have not read Pennsylvania Patchwork or Leaving Lancaster you are missing out on some great books. I want to give a high-five to the author Kate Lloyd and publisher David C Cook for bringing compelling Christian books that are entertaining and give hope to the reader with stories of faith. The Book Club Network Inc. provided me with this book in exchange for my honest review and I am so grateful for their, the authors and publishers generosity.

It is a very condensed version of recipes from many countries. The book is a good price for all the information you receive. We live in the south and barbequing is a tradition. I can't wait to try some of these recipes. Awesome.

I recommend this book to everyone. It is charming, informative, historical and just plain wonderful. After reading it myself I bought several copies for Christmas gifts. I would give it five stars. Further, can't wait to try some of the recipes. My wonderful Grandmother told me stories like these about growing up in Arkansas during the early part of 1900. It brought back many wonderful memories of her.

This book follows the life and flavor of the upscale country resort known as the Blackberry Farm in eastern Tennessee. Beautiful photography and good recipes that are truly seasonal and local. No boxed or canned items. Fresh or home preserved and prepared with all of the senses in mind. This book makes me hungry every time I pick it up!
