This was recommended by a friend and I have been so grateful for that. I have gotten many of the other books, but this is my favorite.

I was very pleased with the quality of the Ryrie Study Bible. I have a very old one that I have used for years and although very similar, this one is a nice update. Delivery was faster than I had expected.

The Healing Quilt by Wanda Brunstetter I give the awe-inspiring book 5 stars. Within the first few pages I know this book would be out of this world. I had a very hard time putting it down. I loved it and highly recommend it. The Healing Quilt is part of the Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club by Wanda E. Brunstetter. I have not read any of the other books in this series, it can be read as a stand alone. This was only the second book I have read by this author now she has a new fan. The characters were well developed, inspiring and you are sure to be drawn in by them. The main characters are retired Amish newlyweds Lamar and Emma. Together they teach a quilting class and pray for their students. Before you know what has happen you are drawn into the lives of these students. I can only hope to read more about them in a future book. The students all had unique hurts. You have BJ the artist, Erika the handicap teen, Phyllis the lonely housewife and her workaholic husband Mike, then Noreen ...

For me the book was a let down. Ninety percent of the book was a blow by blow of her television show. Who was on it, what they sang. blah blah blah. It went on and on and on. I didn't find it interesting and skimmed an awful lot of the book. It did touch on her life some, but mostly about her shows. It would be okay as a thrift store find, but not an almost *** book.

Great insight into relationships between not only coworkers, staff and managers but family and friends. Stories are a little corny but really help to explain by example.
