Took longer to get than expected...Classic shoot em up sci-fi. Worth having in the collection

Personally, I think this movie is endlessly entertaining.
It is not the best movie ever made, but is one my household watches on a regular basis.
The HD transfer to Blu-ray has been done very well. It doesn't have the crispness of animation, but is more than sufficient to blow the DVD out of the water.
If this type of movie fits your tastes, I absolutely recommend getting the Blu-ray.
Overstock had a great deal when I purchased, and delivery was prompt.
I am totally satisfied with this purchase.

That 3 star rating from the genius before mine is clueless. If you don't like The Fifth Element in Blu-Ray then you just don't like High Def. The Remastered version on Blu-Ray is just about as good as it gets in High Def. even after what 11 or 12 years after the movie first released. The picture quality is pristine and the audio codecs are cutting edge and come very close to the original. Isn't that what HD is all about?
