  I got this for my fiance as a suprise. He loved it, he's been wanting something like it but didn't know they made anything like it. I even enjoy reading out of it, it's just like a regular bible but with extras that can relate to any situation you are going through. I high recommend this product!

  I love black history which enough information is not given. To have this commentary touches on points of view relating to black history. It shows how the map actually was during the time in which you are reading.

  I had this bible a few years ago. I had to search and search for it, because I didn't remember the name. When I found it, I recognized it because of the book color. When I took it out of the packaging, I got a green book. This scared me a little, but it is the same book, just updated. I ended up being fine with the book, however; it is not the one I ordered. While this book has good information about recovery, you do not need to be in recovery to read it. It was given to me a few years ago, and I didn't even notice that it focused some on recovery. My favorite feature in this book is that at the start of every book, it has an explanation. For instance, for Genesis, it says who wrote the book of Genesis, where it was set, etc. It is definitely a great study bible.
