Excellent for beginners and veterans alike
The reviews I have read so far about this book all seemed to think it was geared more towards a beginner seamstress. I have been sewing for 25 years and I learned a lot of new things from this book! Amy Karol has a great writing style and sounds like a friend. She goes over basics but she also covers more difficult topics, too. Her explanation of making continuous bias tape is the first one I have truly understood- and I also learned how to apply it the best way. The projects are all fun, and the photography is beautiful. This is a fantastic book that I know I will turn to time and time again.

Great Fun!
I received this book in the mail and had so much fun going through it. I promptly got started on some of the projects. I simply could not put this book down! The writer is very down to earth and the projects are simple and fun to put together. I am by no means an expert sewer but when I see the end results of my projects I'm very thrilled with the outcome. The authors ideas for projects are somewhat unique - you will not be disappointed. The projects I have tried and will try again include the zippered pouch, a small tote, charming handbag, pleated beauty handbag, and coasters. The other projects look like great fun as well. You must check this book out!

Great Sewing Book
Saw this book at a local quilt store. However, didn't want to pay the full price for it. I came home and did some shopping and overstock had the best price w/ cheap shipping. This book is great for little quilting or sewing projects! Can't wait to get started. Price was great, received product in timely manner.
