This was actually really awkward to do, especially with the strange host leading each workout. It wasn't that fun to do and honestly I haven't tried it since the first time. Belly dancing is cool but this video set is far from it. But it is good workout.
I really like this dvd set. It's easy to follow and it's great especially for beginners and perhaps intermediate. I try to exercise regularly and have added this dvd as part of my weekly regimen and it gives more diversity. I especially recommend this dvd to people who want to exercise in low impact and just want to start moving.
Got these as a gift for my wife and she is very impressed with them. Good production, good routines, good workout.
So far I've only gotten to 2 of the 4 of these dvds, and I'm really happy with them. I do the dvds with my mom and this is both of our fist attempts at bellydance. Ranya's instruction is good, she starts everything slow and then has you bring it up to speed. And it's a fun way to work out, since I'm focused more on the motor learning aspect when I do it. But it does make you work, and maybe it'll even teach me to move a little. By the way, if you watch the performance by Ranya on there - she is amazing!
You can actually learn some routines and you get workouts to improve your belly dancing. Excellent for beginner dancers and for people who wish to vary their regular workout.
Great, great workout. This really gets your heart rate up. I like the variety between all the work outs. The cardio shimmy definitely gets your heart rate up. The pure sweat, does just that. These are all fun, very easy to follow workouts. They also seem to fly by. great value. These are fun workouts to add to your own exercise routine.
