This book is one of the greatest books I have ever read. It gave me a picture of the beginning of America that I had only glimpsed, but never known or experienced in such a graphic or complete way. George Washington IS "The Father of our Country," and this book portrays the reasons why he is. He deserves the title and all the respect we can afford him. Without him, we would probably not have the rights, freedoms, and country that we call the United States of America. I cannot commend this book enough. Every American who reads this book will understand where we started from and the prices that were paid to plant us here. Every American should read this book, I believe.
