I'm keeping this one with my other fave from Dylon Whyte. This book was quite inspirational to me. There are just a few weaves in the book, but a couple of them were brand new to me, like Persian Star and Orbits of Jupiter, so killer tutorials alone are worth the price of the book. The instructions are so incredibly well done, that even a novice can follow them for an intermediate weave. The best thing is that all of us chainmaille jewelers out there can add some much needed COLOR to our pieces without having to resort to cheap colored wire (NOOOoooo!) or expensive anodized titanium (can't afford!!) But with his book, Dylon shows us how to add great pops of color and unique feels to our pieces -- affordably-- with high quality beads. Once you open it, your gears will start turning about all the different things you can do. The books also gives very precise information on the seed beads themselves, which I knew nothing about prior to this publication. You can make the exact same pattern with different style beads and come up with a completely different feel. With beads added to your maille, the only thing that limits you is your imagination. Thanks for adding color to my maille! I hope to see another book from this author. I'm off to the local bead store now for some 6/0's... I can't wait to get started!
