This is wonderful. The story follows through 6 individual, but not separate, episodes. The animation style and unique way of portrayal, I think, does the characters justice.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Great quality. The disk was not held inside the case as it should have been, however. (This seems to be a recurring problem!!)

The "Adult Swim" animation POV of Batman is an interesting diversion and timely given the new darker Batman movie that was just released. The animation is dark anime and the stories (there are 6 different stories that are somewhat related to each other) are more in line with Frank Miller's vision and adult moods. It takes Batman back to the detective he is and actually makes him more human, oddly enough. The popular villains like Joker, Riddler, and Penguin are absent this time around. Deadshot and Croc are, instead, featured. The anime styles are film noir and interesting and take some getting used to. If you're a Batman afficianado, you have to add this to your collection. It's definitely not the "Super Friends" Batman and it's definitely not for kids.
