Each card pictures a human body part labeled with its medical name, location in the body, and function. A total of 265 4" x 6" cards show muscles, bones, and organs, and are color coded according to their general function in the human body. An important new feature in this second edition is a related Internet resource that contains electronic color images of each flash card. Students can now connect to BarronB`s special anatomy Web site and enter a unique code allowing them access to the interactive Web site. Once logged on, students can use the siteB`s interactive technology to test themselves on every detail contained on the cards, and even create playlists of particular systems or areas where they require further study. The cards come boxed with a full-color, anatomically accurate poster that shows the human body and its major parts, as well as a toggle so cards can be pulled out and studied on-the-go. The poster unfolds to size 11 3/4" x 16 1/2".

Although I wish they were a bit bigger each card is detailed and easy to work with... Also comes with a poster... I highly recommend for those in Nursing school as well as anyone interested in anatomy...

Excellent Study Aid.
I am using these flashcards for my anatomy class, and I am finding that they are very helpful. The flashcards are divided by system (skeletal, muscular, nervous, etc.), and each set has tabs so you can quickly find the system you want to study. You can quiz yourself, or have a friend quiz you. The illustrations are detailed and colorful, but some numbers seem to be open to interpretation; for example, on the anterior humerus flashcard, numbers 2 and 3 look as though they're indicating the same general area. This does not detract from the overall quality and helpfulness of the flashcards, but this product should not replace a textbook or lab manual. This is a great product and absolutely worth the money. In fact, these flashcards are a steal at under $20. I recommend them to any anatomy student.

Great study aid
I got these cards to help study for my anatomy class. I can't go to the lab very often to use the models, but these cards are great study aids. They are small enough that I can carry some in my purse and study when I have a few minutes. But they are large enough that I get detail of the bone markings or body structure that I need to study. Great investment.
