Aimed at preschool children ages 2-5, the series centers around five colorful animal friends--yellow hippo Tasha, orange moose Tyrone, beanied penguin Pablo, purple rabbit Austin, and a strange pink creature aptly named Uniqua--who transform their yards into magical fantasy lands that serve as backdrops for musical adventures. As the talented fivesome break into song and dance with well-crafted original music and fanciful choreography, children are encouraged to join in the fun for an interactive experience that fosters creative thinking and physical movement. My nephew just adores these videos and watches them daily. If you ever get tired of the same Backyardigans videos, then make sure you have this one in your collection.

I have 3 listed here in this purchase for review but I'm only going to coment once.When my grandson was 2 he started watching these loveable little characters I know because I sometimes had to babysit inbetween daycare visits. I love the little characters and had taped every episode off tv for him but alas the tapes wore out so these dvd's are replacements and everyone is happy again

My kids love the backyardigians. My three year old soon to be four begs to watch it. My 6 year old loves it too. I love listening to the song as well as watching. The song have tunes I've heard before, but with different words. I love musicals and my kids are learning to love them as well.

My Baby just loves to watch the Backyardigains. The singing and music has him giggling and moving all at just 5 months. I have a small collection of the Backyardigans Movies and think that they are just great for learning and imagination with a great beat. I will soon order more of these outstanding videos. I might even order a few for all the younger kids in my family.
