  • Backyard Ballistics

Fun for the whole family! Easy to follow directions with items you probably have around the house. We've got to finish eating our Pringles so we can make our tennis ball launcher.

  • My 13 year old son loves this book

This book is tons of fun. My son has poured over it, and had to have it as a birthday present for his best friend, too. All his friends are coveting it. I just had to lay down the rule that I have to be present for certain things (anything involving fire). He's been great about it, and I've had fun witnessing all the projects, too.

  • What a blast!

I bought this book for my 11-year-old son, on the recommendation of the director of the Eli Whitney Museum in Hamden, CT. My son immediately set to building the potato cannon. It was a big success, and the whole family got into it. For the mechanically inclined, the book's project ideas are inspirational and educational. It gives kids a chance to learn in ways they don't ordinarily get a chance in school. Highly recommended.

  • What fun!!!

We are a homeschooling family and always looking for fun, educational things to do. After reading through this book, I can tell we will be making a bunch of noise this summer! The instructions are very clear and easy to read. The author obviously had a lot of fun writing it because my boys really enjoy reading it. The projects definitely require adult supervision, but they are so much fun to do that isn't a problem.
