I am teaching myself to knit (with a little help from Mom), and this book has been a great starting point for learning patterns... I have two little boys, and this book has many patterns for both boys and girls. I checked this out from the library to try it out, and now I have to buy a copy - I've been renewing my library copy too many times!!
