This two-disc collection from progressive rock/pop veterans Asia sourced most of its material from the band`s 2008 world tour, which featured original members John Wetton, Carl Palmer, Steve Howe, and Geoff Downes. Recorded in Moscow, Sao Paolo, Tokyo, Barcelona, and San Francisco, and with a pair of bonus tracks recorded in Nottingham, England, the band sounds sharp, tearing through radio classics like "Heat of the Moment," "Only Time Will Tell," and "Don`t Cry," as well as fan favorites like "Time Again" and "Sole Survivor," with both precision and passion. Five of the 24 cuts on Live Around the World were recorded in 1990 with Pat Thrall on guitar. ~ James Christopher Monger
