This book introduces the principles and philosophy of applied kinesiology (AK), as it is used by medical professionals all over the world. Written for both the professional and the curious layman, APPLIED KINESIOLOGY is a detailed, well-researched account of the technique by someone who studied closely with its originator, George Goodheart. AK uses muscle stress testing to determine the weakness or strength of a muscle group, which, according to its originator's beliefs, directly correlates to the function of specific organs and bodily functions. AK introduces the reader to basic practices, as created by Dr. Goodheart, and to 33 muscle tests with simple-to-follow instructions for the beginner. While this book isn't a textbook, it is used for various training programs and is often on required reading lists for kinesiology students. Robert Frost has done an excellent job of condensing the complex information into a pocket-sized book -- such a good job in fact, that George Goodheart himself elected to write a forward.
