Both Animusic DVDs, 1 and 2, are terrific! I gave Animusic 2 of the computerized music animations to my then 2 year old grandson for Christmas 2006. He loved it so much that the only gift he asked for was a drum set of his own for Christmas 2007. This year I gave Animusic #1 to another grandson, age 4, and it was enjoyed by children and adults alike. The first release is a bit more subdued than the second, but both are immensely enjoyable. The computer graphics that coordinate to the music are attention riveting. These DVDs make a great family viewing experience!

  • Unfortunate ending to series

While I LOVE Inuyasha, I'd have to say the other 3 movies were MUCH better then this one. The story is full of holes and not held together well at all. Kikyou and Sesshoumaru make "token" appearances but do not add to the story. Unless you are a hardcore fan (like me) I would not necessarily buy this one, any of the other 3 movies are much better. No romantic interactions either InuKag fans! Overstock has a good price on it though if you want it!

Even though the animation trend is racing towards 3D & realistic rendering, it is nice to see quality 2D movies. Mind blowing images on the screen is never a good substitute for a good story line with me. This one has a little of both. The illustrations and backgrounds are terrific and detailed with nice movement and texture. I like some of the creative whimsical creatures and how the artist handles crowd scenes without it looking too cluttered. There are some scenes where heads and limbs get cut off and some scary creatures so I cannot recommend this for smaller children. The story is a fun ride and ends in the usual strange Japanese anime way that makes some people scratch their heads and say, "Huh?" I'm no "tree-hugger" but I appreciate the nice message of being aware of and respecting the environment and world around us. The extras are pretty good with interviews of the voice actors. I wish there was a commentary with the artist and more photo gallery stuff. Overall though, I wa...
