I bought this 3 months ago along with the complete collection of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, having little knowledge of each show beforehand and mainly going on the recommendations of friends. Buffy quickly rose to being one of my all-time favorite, not just TV shows, but viewing experiences entirely. Because I decided beforehand to watch both shows chronologically to get a full experience, I only just started this show, and am currently beginning the second season. The show is a bit of a step-down from Buffy, at least so far. Some plot elements and the writing can irritate me, at least in the first season, but very rarely does an episode disappoint me as a whole. David Boreanz is probably the finest actor in the Buffy/Angel universe, just a step below Anthony Stewart Head and James Marsters, being able to put on many different faces and emotions seemlessly. His presence alone can make any episode worth watching. So while I have a few more issues with this show than I do with Buffy, I definitely don't regret buying it. I did the math and found this set is the surefire way to save money, as opposed to buying the individual seasons on this or any other site/store. For a good price and hours of entertainment, this is the way to go.

This was a gift for my partner who loved Buffy and graduated to Angel. Great to watch...no commercials.

I purchased this set and the Buffy set and love them both! They are compact and a great value for the money! If you have either of these two sets, I would seriously think about getting the other! They go pretty much hand in hand.

I love the product because Iove angel. I don't like the price dropping $30.00 in less then a month, but I enjoy watching these DVDs alot.

A box of fun. Delighted with the packaging. Only just started viewing and having fun. Visually appealing, well written dialog and very funny at just the right moments. The battle of good versus evil is always entertaining.

I purchased this for my wife's birthday. We already had all 7 seasons of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, and I was dreading trying to track each season of Angel down. All 5 seasons in one easy package, great deal. Some of the themes of this show may be a bit mature for younger viewers and some of the demons and monsters are campy, but every episode is worth watching!

When I received the TV Series Box Set Angel, it was one ot the collectibles I was waiting for a very long time. I loved it when I followed the series on television. I waited around as other series came out. The price is reasonable for the going market. I am a person who buys at am impulse. But this is one worth waiting for. In addition to this purchase, I bought the original series that created this spinoff, Buffy, The Vampire Slayer. COllecting these two series made my year.

Good stories are hard to find, but Joss Wheden seems to have an endless supply, and the "Angel" series is fine example of his imaginings. Since Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel left the TV airwaves we've missed their adventures. The action, humor and angst of the charactors was a weekly treat, and they are much missed. So - already a proud owner of the Buffy series, there was nothing left to do but buy the Angel collection for our film library. Now whenever we are tired of this sometime ordinary universe we can put in a disk, and travel to an altiverse where vampires, and demons, werewolves, and other things that go bump in the night must fight or join our brave hero, Angel, the vampire with a soul.
