My fiance and I decided to read together and I am so glad that we are!! I had never realized how much negative conditioning I had received towards sex that made me feel ashamed and embarrassed about marital relations. We really feel that if every couple just read the first two chapters that are about negative conditioning and the sanctity of sexual relations, every couple's marriage would be so much the better. Laura Brotherson has really done a fantastic job with this book. I have learned so much from this book and I wish that everyone could learn what I have learned. We definitely recommend this book to everyone and we are planning on giving it to friends as a wedding present!

I would recommend this book to anyone who feels like intimate relations in their marriage has become a little foreign. This book gave me tools and the knowledge to understand that the subject of intimacy in a marriage is very important and necessary for a marriage to succeed. It has truly strengthened my marriage by relieving me of the negative aspects of intimacy that society has taught me and showing me that intimacy in a marriage is a positive thing.
