The good: This book is amazing and I love the fact that the style of the house is very old world without being to "heavy". I first saw it at a boutique store near me where they were charging $60 for it. Now, that's pretty steep, but even so, Overstock beat the price that most other online retailers had. The bad: When I opened the box I was disappointed to see that it had not been packaged very well for shipping and the book jacket was completely destroyed. Not a problem for me since I can just take that off and the hardcover is a really nice mossy green color, but if you are thinking of giving this as a gift, you might want to consider looking elsewhere.

If you like old world style, this book is a must have. I pick it up all the time to get ideas and inspiration.
