  I sent for this because any book about San Francisco and each of their district's I try to get - I have many about the districts and some of old San Francisco, street cars, etc., etc. I am a native San Franciscan and lived there until I was 28, in the same house! All of San Francisco intrigues me and I have the books in my guest room so my company can read them if they like!

  I should have read this years ago. One of the best books I have every read. This is especiallly interesting to anyone from in and around Chicago. So much information about arcitecture in Chicago, along with the suspense of a good and true murder mystery.

  I had seen the author on the PBS Newshour and bought and read the book myself. This purchase was a gift. The book came in a timely manner and was in excellant condition.

  I'm about halfway through this book and so far it has been very informative. I have had a hard time putting it down once I get into it. Readers do need to be warned that a significant amount of text has been blacked out of the book. The author explains that the FBI and CIA went through the book before it was published. Any information that either agency felt should not be released was blacked out. It makes it confusing at times to figure out the story when critical information was hidden. Ali Soufan did make a comment that he was still fighting the government to have the remaining information released but if and when that happens remains to be seen.
