Algebra for Dummies, like most of the "for Dummies" series, explains concepts in a clear, concise manner. My son and his friends did think the book was helpful in clarifying algebra. Some topics needed were not found in the book. But overall, worth having a copy, especially if student is struggling in algebra/algebra II.
