like going home and being wrapped in a warm flannel blanket of love. it's nice to listen to before falling asleep. the music calm you for the night. thank you, alan jackson. i did not even know who you were before i heard this cd.

This is a simple, beautiful collection of hyms. Alan Jackson is amazing on this album. Highly recommend.

This CD has all the songs I grew up singing in church, and with the family at home. I just love it, and especially when I found out he had recorded it for his Mama!!!

This is going to be one of my favorite CDs, if you like Alan Jackson, he does a fantastic job on these gospel songs. Get the CD you can't go wrong!!

I believe this to be one of the best gospel albums. His style is simple. He sings these songs like they would be sung in church not in a concert. I have not enjoyed many cd's as much as I enjoy this one. I gave my first copy away.

This album is definitely not mainstream Alan Jackson, but it is definitely Alan Jackson. He has chosen some of the most notable Hymns that I know of and sang them with noticeable sincerity. They are very clear and very well played. I would recommend this album to anyone searching for classical hymns done well. I would not recommend to someone looking for mainstream Alan Jackson.
