Still, there are 11 fine tunes here from the king of smooth Southern soul, including classics like "Tired of Being Alone" and "I`m Still In Love With You." Green`s high, aching tenor and sensual delivery is forever affecting, while his elegant, funky arrangements are the perfect complement. Though not especially outstanding as a greatest-hits compilation, THE MILLENNIUM COLLECTION has enough good music to constitute a potent dose of the Reverend Al.
