This was a quick and fun read. This is a must read for anyone thinking about hiking the Appalachian Trail.

My friends that have walked parts of the Appalacian Train loved this book. I enjoyed parts of it , some was funny, some was inteesting, and some was a little tedious.

This is a very interesting and humorous book. Bill Bryson always writes travel books that are very interesting, containing a lot of history of the area and also a very funny read. I have read several of his books and have enjoyed all of them.
