I am part of a book club this month we were to read the book "A Million Little Pieces", this immediately started lots of discussoin due to the controversy behind the book itself. However, Controversy intrigues me, and I immediately went online to obtain an original copy of the book. This was important because one of the big discussions was if we should support the pockets of a man who lied for entertainment purposes. I feel that it is not what the book itself portrays but the message that comes out of the story and this is a story thats hits very close to home. I was disappointed to find when I opened the box that this book was not the original book that is displayed in the picture but the copy with the authors notes and publishers notes. I am very disappointed by this and will not look to this site for special buys in the future.
When I first heard about this book, I told myself I had to read it. I don't care if is half lies and half truth, this book was amazing. I hope he writes another great book like that again!
Good book, helped me understand how the addict feels.Has bad language, but I overlooked that because I needed to feel the pain that the addict went thru during his LIFE. It really breaks my heart for this guy and so many others like him.
What an awesome book--embellished or not. I work in a smalltown jail health office and I see and hear much of this daily. I am glad he "got out" alive.

I WHOLE-HEARTEDLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO HAS SOMEONE THEY LOVE GOING THROUGH ADDICTION/ OR LOST SOMEONE THROUGH ADDICTION. IT HAS HELPED ME UNDERSTAND THEIR MIND-SET OF THE HOW AND WHY OR JUST GETTING WHAT THEY ARE/HAD GONE THROUGH.
