Heart warming story with an excellent cast of actors, somehow forgotten for a period of time I'm so glad its back this is a movie well worth sharing now and with future generations,if you love great family movies this dvd would be a holiday treat !!

This movie takes me back to a snowy night in the 70's when this movie first aired on one of the local stations. It is a simple story about a little girl with the dream of having a Christmas Tree. The images in this movie are sweet and simple. And the message...the love of a child can help us let go of the pains of the past.

great movie!!
this is my all time favorite christmas movie!! i have it on vhs and it is really getting distorted, so i'm ordering the dvd version!! my granddaughter and i have started a tradition of watching it together!!!! it is very nostalgic for me since i grew up in that time period!!!!

Very disappointing. Though the story line was.... okay, it seemed like you were watching an old, old homemade movie. No excitement, and every so often a scene is cast on the screen like it is emprinted into animation. Would not recommend this movie, and won't become a regular one of our annual Christmas movies that we watch.
