  • Christmas Carol

    In this version of the classic Christmas Carol story, Alstair Sim as Scrooge portrayed the character so realistically. This actor showed the greedy sinner to perfection, then the totally transformed man in such a believable way. Tis version goes into his sisters death bed and shows him the promise he made but never heard from her that he also never kept. All the spirits were excellent. Actually the whole cast is excellent. I specifically look for this version to play annually to remind me of the Christmas Spirit for the whole year. Love this version of the classic movie.

    It just wouldn't be Christmas witthout seeing A Christmas Carol. There are many versions, but this one is by far the best.

    Thanks ! Overstock for having this dvd. Many Christmas's were spent watching this version. I'm happy to say I will be able to continue that now with 2011 Christmas , and Christmas's in the future. :)
