The first two movies are classics and great. Superman 3 was aweful and should never have been made. It is bad slapstick. Superman 4 was a poor attempt to redeem Superman 3. It still had too much slap stick and it went backwards with special effects. If you can find 1 & 2 together, just stick with those.
