300 Paper-pieced Quilt Blocks

A great book for beginners and advanced quilters. A lot of helpful information and hints. I love the fact that I can chose how I want to add or place the blocks by using her suggestions.

I am a wanna be quilter and hadn't really done any for several years. The book was a great way to re-enter the hobby. I had never done foundation piecing before. Wow. It is an easier way to do it and the outcome is beautiful. I especially appreciated the CDRom that is included in the book. It allows you to size and print the template you want to work with.

Paper piecing is a new skill to me and this book covers all of the baics and the quilt blocks are beautiful and interesting. The CD (which came as a surprise) is really well done and replication of the blocks and foundations is a cinch. Love this book.

I love anything Carol Doak publishes, and this book is no exception. As the title says, there are 300 foundation blocks; tons and tons to drool over (and, of course, I want to make every single one!). The best part of the book, though, is the CD. No more running to the copier machine at the library! Just print out how many you need, and you're all set. The how-to is very clear, and she explains that blocks with many pieces may take more time, but are no more difficult than ones with fewer pieces, and with foundation piecing, the results are perfect every time! Great book. Great price.
